South East Queensland Skydivers

(www.seqsclub.com.au) held their first event over the weekend of 10/11 April, in conjunction with the arrival of the Skyvan at Willowbank. Aimed at helping jumpers needing a Star Crest, the event was an unqualified success - with five jumpers completing their Star Crest cards, and three more making steady progress.
Coached by Luke Oliver and Clayton Gill - with Lisa Perdichizzi and Chris Rose on Camera - the jumps were safe and successful, with experienced personnel like Suzanne Bourke, Andy Clarke and Leanne Critchley using the opportunity to train for the forthcoming Aussie 100 Way.South East Queensland Skydivers also facilitated the ferry of the Skyvan to Toogoolawah on Saturday night for Ben Nordkamp's 50th Birthday, ensuring the most could be made of the social opportunities where a calendar clash had inadvertently occurred.

A great, safe, successful weekend was had by all!
